Initially, MicroGrind® was limited to bottom anvil applications due to dust interference with top anvil machines. SUN Automation engineers innovatively tackled this by designing a hinged vacuum system that could swing open during maintenance. This creative solution made it possible to utilize MicroGrind® for top anvil applications, extending its benefits across a broader range of die-cutting operations.
