Daniel is a Controls Engineer for Helios, developing the Helios platform to innovate and advance the corrugated industry. He works intimately with our Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) software, exploring what data can be pulled and analyzed from corrugated machinery to give customers actionable insights, regardless of which equipment brand is used at their facilities.
What do you like most about your job?
Every day is different when you design and program systems for these machines that perform corrugated and corrugated-related duties. There are a tremendous amount of challenges, but that only makes the rewards even more satisfying.
What’s the most exciting thing you’re working on right now?
When working in such a dynamic field, there are endless opportunities for collaboration. Right now I’m working with experts from Rockwell Automation, reprogramming a rotary die cutter machine to make the system more intuitive and to simplify the troubleshooting process.
Where do you see Helios in the future?
